Your Self-Image is Just an Idea in Your Head

Think about the words self-image. It’s your photo of yourself. It is how you picture yourself. It is just a concept in your head. You could make it up. People from time to time condemn themselves announcing that they’re depressed and life is horrible on account that “I’m no longer an awesome individual and that I do those awful things”. The majority’s self-image is their personal photo smirched by such negative thoughts.

Trust me, you’re a good person. Matter of fact, most of what you consider bad about you lack substance. It’s there because you think you’re not good enough. This is regarded as self-victimization. This is the folly that goes on due to erroneous self-image. You will be surprised if I assure you that most people would assume if they could get to your level, they’d be amazing.

Let me tell you, one never matches up to own self-image. You’re always trying to better yourself making it harder for you. You are in a way pre-programmed for failure and when you don’t meet your own false standards then you label yourself a letdown. People surrounding you Of Course wonder what’s wrong with a fine person like you. A faulty self-image results mainly due to negative self-esteem based on an unreal self, faulty programming and not getting detached from your past.

The above reasons can get multiplied when you insist to protect your self-image by judging yourself based on what everybody else is thinking about you. Such thinking divides your personality into many sub-personalities. We all have a tendency to shield our self-image and therefore it persists. What we need to do is to integrate our personalities as one whole to get the real picture of you. If your thinking is inhibiting your life in any way, it’s time to free your mind from the clutter.

The best way to free your mind from undesirable thoughts is by engaging it with constructive thoughts. You should resolve or eliminate the cause of the thoughts you are having. You should re-program your mind and work on creating a manageable self-image based on the practicalities of your individual life. To enjoy life to the fullest, get control in your hands to stop flying by wires attached to your faulty self-image.
