Success is how you play the game of life

All games require rigorous regular practice. Better tools and techniques are readily available in any game, but it’s up to the player to choose them for success. The bottom line is that this game is for rational people requiring the use of learned and acquired skills. You cannot consistently win any game unless you are optimistic about the outcome of the game. Arguably, the game of life, especially if you are down, demands absolute focus for optimal results.

Success can indeed be viewed as a way of playing the game of life. It's a multifaceted concept that varies from person to person, as different individuals have different aspirations, values, and goals. Here are some key aspects to consider when contemplating success as "how you play the game of life":

Can you please everyone at home or work, possibly you can’t! You can’t perform to the expectations of others at all times. Similarly, it’s too much to imagine everything to match your expectations. Someone will think your choice is wrong and advise the opposite. Disagreement itself poses a great challenge. You will always meet many people who are more proficient than you in different skills of the game.

But if you are true to yourself and sweat it out in life’s arena, nothing will matter. Because you will go beyond the illusion of approval and success —a life that feels right for you based on your values, wishes, needs, and beliefs. At the final whistle of the game of life, what matters is not whether you won or lost. It’s not our abilities; it’s our character and the values we nurture. And it’s more important than any success.

It's important to note that success is subjective, and there is no one-size-fits-all definition. Each person must determine their parameters for success based on their values and aspirations. Comparing your journey to others may not always be helpful, as everyone's path is unique. Instead, focus on growth, self-improvement, and making a positive impact in your way, as that is the essence of playing the game of life.

Success is not a race, but the blossoming of the heart,

The pursuit of passions fierce, where dreams and goals impart.

With gratitude, you'll find, the treasures you attain,

The wealth of love and laughter, the legacy you'll gain.
