Quality of Your Thoughts = Quality of Your Life

“Two things to remember in life: Take care of your thoughts when you are alone and take care of your words when you are with people.” -unknown

Every action is a thought first. Perfection of the resultant action comes from the quality of this thought. The state of the outer world is changed by first changing the state of the inner world. Every stimulus that comes from the outside is the result of own consciousness. When this consciousness changes, the perception of the world seen also changes. These mental perceptions when fully understood help us navigate through the maze of life towards our goals. For as long as these mental perceptions drive us to action, that action will always move us forward toward our goals.

Perfect actions leading to perfect works need inner conviction of the mental cause behind them. Therefore your thinking determines how you act and how others react to you. What we think so we become. We are a testimony of our thoughts. It means that a person emitting positive vibes will attract good things and the opposite also holds true. A practical example is that when we are in a good mood, the surroundings seem much more beautiful and we rarely notice faults if any.

Our individual consciousness is part of the universal consciousness and a part is no different from the whole. Therefore we all are interconnected. This realization can make you take more responsibility for your actions. When you become aware of your connection to the universe you live with the mindfulness that everything you are and everything you do affects everything and everyone around you in some way. Irrespective of dimensions, what you choose to do has a direct bearing on and can change the course or destiny of living or non-living things that relate to us in any way. Once you do that meaning of life will be clearer to you.

You need to understand that what is out there is only the reflection of what is within. Therefore one should try to live life from the inside out. When you do so, your life will have a purpose. Such a thought process makes you more spiritually inclined. For the man whose mental perception goes beyond the agitations of constantly distracting stimuli of the outer world has taken charge of his own life. He alone is truly the master of his fate.
