Updated: Jul 22, 2023

Need of A purpose

Finding your life purpose can be a deeply personal and unique journey for each individual. While I can provide some perspectives on why you fail to find your life purpose, it’s important to note that these approaches may not be universally applicable.

I can tell you that failing to find one’s life purpose can be demoralizing for most. However, it’s important to remember that discovering your life purpose is a personal journey for every individual.

It’s a process

It follows a certain process and thus needs to be given time. It’s natural to feel frustrated and confused when you’re unable to identify your life purpose. You might question your direction in life and don’t understand what truly brings you fulfillment. Let’s find out what’s possibly holding you back.

Life teaches you lessons

You have not been paying attention to your learning in the past. It can hinder your ability to understand the real you. You are then unable to find your passions and values. Take the time to find out your interests. See what kind of experiences you have been having and consider what truly brings you joy and fulfillment.

Determine Yourself

When you fail to learn from your own experiences you tend to rely merely on the opinions and expectations of others to determine your life purpose. It can be misleading. While it’s essential to consider the opinions of those who matter to you, it is good to remember that your true purpose has to be aligned with you and hence should ultimately come from within you. Your values and aspirations are the ones to be in alignment.

Individuals are Different

We as Individuals are different moving on different paths. Each person has own strengths, passions, and timeline for self-discovery. Know this and focus on your own growth rather than comparing yourself to others and their achievements.

We all fail, so what

We all have failed and you are not going to be an exception. The fear of making mistakes or failing can be paralyzing. Consider the possibility of failure as an opportunity for growth and learning. Recognize that finding your life purpose is a process that may involve trial and error. Explore different paths without the fear of failure holding you back.

Be flexible

Life’s purpose is not always a singular, fixed destination. It takes time to evolve as you gain new experiences and insights. Instead of fixating on finding one ultimate purpose, focus on finding meaningful pursuits and goals that resonate with you in different stages of life. The purpose will be visible to you in due course.

Finding your life purpose is a personal and evolving process. It is a highly personal process and can take time. It’s okay if there are setbacks or periods of uncertainty. It often involves a combination of self-reflection, exploration, and embracing the journey itself. Be patient, open-minded, and willing to adapt as you navigate through this process. What matters is your determination to explore with a growth mindset always welcoming new possibilities.

So, seek within, dear traveller, and you shall find, The purpose in life that’s eternally aligned. Embrace it, nurture it, let your light shine,For your purpose, dear soul, is truly divine.
