“FAIL: First Attempt In Learning”

– A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Former President of India

Failure is just a feeling until it becomes an actual outcome. Failure often allows you to examine what worked or what didn’t. But, like it or not, failure is a necessary stepping stone to realizing our dreams as we move onward in life. The history of mankind is full of examples that no great success is achieved without failure. It could be a historic failure. You have to accept your failures and learn from them. If we agree that failure is a feeling, adjustment of our thoughts will allow us to conceive and develop new plans and persist.

“The only time you fail is when you fall down and stay down.”

-Stephen Richards Author

1. Failure is not the end, it is the beginning. We have to accept failure willingly and explore why it happened and what lesson life is trying to teach from it.

“It’s not whether you get knocked down; it’s whether you get up.”

-Vince Lombardi Football player

2. Learning from failure requires a change in your thinking. You need to shift to a positive mindset that sees opportunities and growth behind failures.

“Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones,

you’ll start having positive results.”

-Willie Nelson Musician

3. Once you understand the cause of the failure, you need to think and develop a new plan. This plan should be made with previous mistakes and failures in mind.

“If you want light to come into your life, you need to stand where it is shining.”

-Guy Finley Writer

4. Once you have a plan, you need to put it into action. In this process, we need strong conviction and persistence to overcome any obstacles and difficulties.

“You are never too old to set another goal or dream a new dream.”

-Les Brown Author

5. Evaluate and adjust your plan constantly

Finally remember:

“You always pass failure on the way to success.”

-Mickey Rooney Actor
